Angela Mason has been a part of the California legal community since 2011. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature at UCSD, she began her legal career as a secretary at a small law firm that handled medical malpractice, personal injury, and immigration. She earned her ABA Paralegal Certification at Miramar College in San Diego, becoming a certified paralegal in 2014. Her first paralegal position handled civil litigation cases covered under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act. In this position, she learned the ins and outs of California Lemon Law.
She is experienced in state and federal court systems and procedure, legal document drafting and research, and effective communication with clients and counsel. With this litigation experience and a relentless work ethic, including experience in business law, employment law, and class action law, Angela has become a well-rounded paralegal with extensive experience assisting many kinds of cases and attorneys.
Angela joined the team at Kaufman & Kavicky LLP in early 2020, and has been able to apply her expertise in the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act to provide detailed support and quality care to the attorneys and to her clients. She takes pride in providing the best work possible, and continues to grow as a professional in the legal community. As a San Diego native, Angela spends her time outside of work with her husband, getting together with her family, and spoiling her dog, Lily.
